ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is a major ISO Directive that enables companies to review the extent to which their activities influence the environment. ISO 14001 helps describing the actions the company should take to decrease this influence. Companies are free to select the number and type of actions they want to take, as well as the time needed to do so. The main aim of ISO 14001 is that companies become aware of their role in the overall environment.
ISO 14001 is a Directive. By means of a so-called 'Self-Declaration' companies make a commitment with respect to their role and actions regarding environmental issues. RARE can confirm this Self-Declaration and issue a certificate to proof this. The current version of this Directive is ISO 14001:2015.
